 At Art in the Heart, we believe art is more than expression, it is a powerful tool for healing, connection, and change. Rooted in Northeast Houston and extending across the city through place-based and mobile programs, we bring people together through creative experiences that strengthen community wellbeing and improve quality of life. Our work centers access, collaboration, and belonging for people of all ages.

Our Approach:

    Art in the Heart is a place-based and mobile arts organization rooted in the Eastex Jensen neighborhood of Northeast Houston and extending across the city when invited. We operate through a neighborhood Art House, a mobile art bus, and partnerships with schools, community spaces, and local organizations—meeting people where they are and responding to community-identified needs.
